A week at the beach and 87 mosquito bites later, I bring you Tarkio, the pre-Decemberists band. From 96-99, 4 guys, including Decemberists front man Colin Meloy, got together in Montana and created some very familiar music. Familiar? Why, it sounds so similar to the Decemberists I couldn't contain my joy when I recently heard one of their albums! Granted, it is at a much slower pace than Decemberists, Colin Meloy still captures wonderous images through his lyrics. Tarkio - Tristan and Iseult Download!!!
